The grand opening ceremony of the series of China-Russia cultural and artistic exchange events
According to China International Education Television, on the afternoon of November 23, 2024, the "2024-2025 China-Russia Year of Culture" officially established the "China-Russia Cultural and Artistic Exchange Committee" in celebration of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Russia and in accordance with the agreement reached during the meeting of the heads of state of the two countries to designate 2024-2025 as the China-Russia Year of Culture. The event was co-hosted by the All-Russian Public Organization "Committee for Support of Russian President’s Reforms" and China International Education Television. Simultaneously, the "My Fairy Tale World - China-Russia Youth Painting and Calligraphy Art Exchange Exhibition" was ceremoniously launched during the unveiling ceremony.
The event attracted numerous cultural figures, educators, artists, and youth representatives. Members of the China-Russia Cultural and Artistic Exchange Committee are committed to promoting exchanges and cooperation between the two countries in the fields of art, education, and traditional culture, providing more platforms for the youth of both countries to showcase their talents and enhance friendship.
During the unveiling ceremony, representatives from China and Russia delivered enthusiastic speeches. Marat Galimov, Chairman of the All-Russian Public Organization " Committee for Support of Russian President’s Reforms", sent a video greeting, congratulating the success of the exhibition and thanking the China-Russia Cultural and Artistic Exchange Committee for organizing the event, highlighting it as an important step in advancing China-Russia cultural cooperation. He expressed hope for achieving excellent results in China-Russia cultural exchanges in the future. Zhang Yiqian, Deputy Director of China International Education Television, expressed a deep understanding of China-Russia cultural exchange, stating that this event will create a new landscape for the integration of cultures and exchange of ideas between the two countries. He also emphasized the significant responsibility and mission of China International Education Television in promoting cultural dissemination. The joint initiation of the "2024-2025 China-Russia Year of Culture" and the series of China-Russia cultural and artistic exchange activities, as well as the establishment of the "China-Russia Cultural and Artistic Exchange Committee," symbolize the determination and commitment to advancing people-to-people exchanges.
Following that, Li Ning, Chief Advisor of the Cultural, Educational, and Tourism Sector of the All-Russian Public Organization "Committee for the Support of Reforms of the President of Russia" and Head of the "New Time" China-Russia Cultural Education Center, emphasized Russia's active role in cultural exchange and looked forward to deepening cooperation with China in the field of cultural arts during his speech.
