Russian-Chinese Cooperation Reaches a New Level

On June 19, 2025, a presentation of Russian investment projects was successfully held in Beijing, aimed at fostering further practical cooperation between China and Russia, as well as aligning the “Belt and Road” initiative with Russia’s development strategies. The event was organized by the General Office of the Committee for Support of the President of Russia’s Reforms, with support from several Chinese companies and media outlets.
During the meeting, the Russian side presented six key projects across various sectors—transportation, culture and tourism, healthcare, housing, and urban development. Among them: comprehensive development of a major transportation hub (an airport project), creation of a cultural-residential complex in Moscow, a large-scale tourism cluster on the Black Sea coast, a family eco-estate near Moscow, construction of a modern clinical center in southern Russia, and a multifunctional residential district with advanced infrastructure.
Attractive participation terms were offered to Chinese companies: international-level informational support through leading media outlets; the opportunity to obtain “Red Enterprise” status with several benefits; and priority consideration of applications at the General Office of the Committee for Support of the President of Russia’s Reforms for participation in large-scale projects.
The event concluded with a signing ceremony for several agreements between Russian project initiators and representatives of Chinese businesses. Both sides expressed readiness for open cooperation and emphasized their mutual benefit from joint implementation of the announced initiatives.
Thus, this meeting has become an important milestone in the development of Russian-Chinese business cooperation—laying solid foundations for new joint high-level infrastructure projects.
